How to become a Satin Party / Gallery Retailer
Thank you for your interest in becoming an authorized Satin Party / Gallery retailer. To set up your new account please download our Tai Lung (Canada) Ltd. New Store Application.
After completion, fax the form toll free at 1-800-265-5864. Alternatively, you may call at 1-800-268-4158 or an e-mail at tailung@tailung.com.
As an established Satin Party retailer, you will be able to make purchases online. In the near future, you will also be able to check inventory and access your account details 24 hours a day 7 days a week! If you are already an authorized retailer and wish to establish a User ID and password please e-mail us at tailung@tailung.com.

How do your shoes fit?
Satin Party and Gallery shoes fit true-to-size so it is your usual shoe size that will fit best. Remember that your feet will swell if you are on them for long periods of time, so if you are between sizes (i.e. if you are normally a 7 or 7½) we recommend that you purchase a 7½ shoe for a more comfortable fit.
Although we only sell to bridal shops and shoe stores, we have included an International Shoe Size Chart below for reference. Please note that our chart is meant as a guide only and there is no guarantee for fit.

How is the height of the heel measured on Satin Party and Gallery Shoes?
Satin Party measures the height of the heel at the side of the shoe down the middle of the heel. In this way we feel that we get a better average for the heel height. Please note: that it is very important to have your shoes for the first fitting to ensure proper hem length. All shoe manufacturers measure the heel heights differently so wherever possible we suggest using the actual shoe you will be using for your function when measuring your hem. It is also important to note that heel heights will change depending on the shoe size. The heel height that we indicate is that of a size 6 however, as the shoe size gets larger there is a slight increase in heel height to accommodate the larger size. The difference in height between a 6 and an 11 can be as much as ¼”. So to get the proper hem length it is important to have your shoes with you for your fittings.
How do I get my shoes and handbags dyed?
You will find that many of our authorized retailers have the ability to dye your shoes in their stores or you may be able to locate a shoe repair shop in your area that dyes satin shoes. You should ask to approve a sample swatch before the items are dyed. Unfortunately we do not offer this service ourselves.
Tips: Dyeing Satin Party Shoes and Handbags
For some of the new white wedding gowns you may find it necessary to change the tone of your white shoes slightly to a light Ivory colour. Your shoe dyer will be able to advise you on this. Please Note: that Only White Stain Shoes and handbags are dyeable.
If dyeing more than one item, it is important that they all be dyed from the same batch of dye. This is to avoid any slight colour difference between batches.
There is no such thing as a perfect match. Everyone perceives colour differently, therefore dyeable shoes should be dyed to blend with your special outfit.
All of our Satin Party shoes are composed of 100% pre-shrunken delicate natural fabrics so that they will not shrink when dyed. These natural variations should be considered as adding to the natural beauty of your shoes.
The colour of the dyed shoes may vary from indoor to outdoor lighting due to the presence of ultraviolet light in the natural light spectrum. We recommend that the shoes be dyed to match the lighting used at your affair (i.e. Indoor or outdoor use)
The nature of dyeable satin shoes and handbags is such that the water based dyes will not stand up to getting wet. The colour will spot or streak if subjected to moisture and will possibly stain on contact. Water protecting sprays may be used to minimize the damage done by moisture, but do not render the shoes totally waterproof. Shoes that have been water-protected cannot be re-dyed.
